Filling device for packaging paste-like substances, especially chewing gum, into tubes

A filling apparatus for packaging paste-like compounds is specified which contains an extruder with an extrusion nozzle for delivering the paste-like compounds and metering and filling devices in order to insert the compound into tubes or the like with a predetermined constant weight and with a predetermined operating cycle. In order to permit the precise drawing-off even of relatively glutinous paste-like compounds in a simple manner, cutting elements are provided at the outlet of the extrusion nozzle, the cutters of which can be sprayed with a lubricant in order to prevent adhesion of the paste-like compound. The cutting elements operate while the extrusion nozzle is still projecting into the interior of the tubes to be filled, at the end of the filling process.
