The method for producing electronic circuit and storage elements based on phthalocyanin can be applied in electrical engineering, electronics, opto-electronics, information storage, information transmission and information processing. The purpose and object of the invention is to improve the quality of electronic circuit and storage elements, in particular to permit the parameters to be set stably and the operating point to be set accurately and to provide protection against external influences and achieve miniaturisation of the components. This object is achieved according to the invention in that, during the deposition process of hyperpure phthalocyanin onto a substrate, an electric field is applied and its polarity reversed, and/or vapour of another planar or non-planar phthalocyanin is mixed in or an interlayer of a few molecular layers having an increased proportion of another or a plurality of other phthalocyanins is introduced, or the layer is briefly exposed to radiation, and in that after the deposition process the layer is subjected to an annealing process and is passivated.
