In this mitre frame press, any frame sizes and shapes are pressed together at the, preferably four, corners in the direction of the mitres and at the same time the mitre faces are guided in a precise-fitting manner. The pressing is effected by a peripheral tension rope and/or tension band (6) via guide rollers (5 + 10) by means of a crank winch (7). The continuous frame-size adjustment is effected by two angle frames (2) which are slidably mounted on a slide rail (3) and from guide spars (1) which guide angle stops (4) displaceable in the mitre direction, using guide rollers (5). This mitre frame press can be used as a fixed work table and also as a rotatable and/or vertically tiltable work table. According to function, triangular, square and polygonal mitre frames (8) can be pressed together at the correct angle. One embodiment is shown in the drawing.
