The transparent window for keeping off precipitation and spray water comprises a fixed window part, in which a rotatable window part equipped with a mounting ring is mounted at the periphery. The electric motor required for driving is constructed in such a way that the rotor is located circularly on the mounting ring and the stator is located circularly in a fixed housing. With this drive operating as an alternating-current asynchronous motor, the rotatable window part is set in rotation. In principle, the peripheral drive is also possible by other electric motors by means of transmission units. |
