<p>PURPOSE:To minimize the number of unit resistors by a method wherein, using the resistance value of 2<k>R for the unit resistor, resistors having resistance values larger than it are series-connected, while resistors having smaller ones are parallel-connected; k is set at m/2 if (m) is an even number and at (m-1)/2 or (m+1)/2 if it an odd number, when a circuit consisting of (m+4) resistors whose resistance values are R, 2R, 2<2>R, 2<k>R, 2<m>R, and 2<m+1>R is laminated one upon another by trimming. CONSTITUTION:When the collector resistors of two transistors 109 constituting a differential amplifier are fabricated by means of the laminated resistors for trimming, the approximation of the resistance value is determined by a resistor 107 of the resistance value of RL, thereafter, using a resistor 106 and resistors 101-105 whose resistance value is 2<3>R, trimming is performed by including the resistance value error of the resistor 107, thus making the resistance value of both branches strictly the same. The resistance values of the resistors 101-103 are 2<3>R, 2R, and R, and the resistors 104 and 105 are put in the resistance value of 1/2R when parallel-connected diodes short-circuit and only in the resistance value of R of the resistor 104 at the time of no short-circuit.</p> |
