CONSTITUTION:A magnetic toner consists of a magnetic powder having a particle diameter distribution of 1.5-6.5mum diameter of 50% particles integrated by the volume basis, 1.0-5.5mum 25% particle diameter, and 2.5-7.5mum 75% particle diameter; and an ion conductive type conductive resin having a quaternary ammonium salt type or chlorosulfonate type structure or an electron conductive type conductive resin, such as metal-coordinating polymer or pi electron-conjugated polymer, and a desired color pigment. As a result, the obtained magnetic color toner can from a sharp image not too much affected by the colored magnetic powder, and it is superior in developability, fixability, etc., and good in stability even under conditions of low and high temps. and humidities. |
