PURPOSE:To execute recording and reproducing by a turntable itself by providing an optical recording material on the turntable itself, and saving a trouble for placing a rewritable disk after using an optical recording medium such as a fixed write type disk, etc. CONSTITUTION:A supporting part 2b and a supporting part 2c are provided projectingly along the circumferential edge part of a turntable 2, and on the circumference of a spindle 4, respectively. A fixed write type disk 1a is supported by the supporting parts 2b, 2c, and fixed by a cap 4a. When the fixed write type disk is used, and thereafter, detached from the turntable 2, an optical head 5 irradiates a laser light 5a to a rewritable optical recording material 2a buried in the turntable 2, and recording and reproducing are executed. Therefore, after the fixed write type disk 1a is used, a trouble for placing a rewritable type disk 1b on the turntable 2 is not required, and recording and reproducing are executed to the rewritable optical recording material 2a. |
