Subconstruction for fastening facade panels

The invention relates to a subconstruction consisting of vertical and horizontal rods for fastening frontally mounted facade panels, structural panels or decorative panels on a building wall. It is the aim of the invention to produce a subconstruction of this type which, avoiding known disadvantages, allows facade panels to be fastened and clamped on horizontal rods facing away from the wall. This aim is achieved in that the vertical rods consist of profiles fastened to the building wall by means of plugs or wall anchors and that the horizontal rods can be fastened to the vertical rods with the aid of a connecting member, e.g. a U-shaped tab bent off on both sides.
