A drilling machine for underground mining consists of several subassemblies which can be put together and taken apart rapidly. The drilling machine can be firmly braced at a longwall face within a short time. To this end, the drilling machine has a lantern-gear slide (20) traversable parallel to the working face (2), a clamping column (40) which is arranged approximately at right angles to the direction of movement of the lantern-gear slide (20) and can be braced between the lantern gear (5) and the roof (3), a drilling-cradle slide (60) which is mounted on the clamping column in a vertically adjustable manner and on which a drilling cradle (80) is mounted, and a drilling slide (100) which carries a drill (102) and is displaceable in the drilling direction. <IMAGE>
