PURPOSE:To obtain a lubricious resin layer having good uniformity of film thickness by drying and setting the resin layer, which is provided on a magnetic metallic thin film for the improvement of lubricity, in a floating state. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic tape 2 formed by forming a magnetic metallic thin film on a base is transported by rollers 3, and applied by rollers 5, 5' and 5'' of a coating machine with a coating solution 6 consisting of resin, setting by ultraviolet-ray irradiation, etc., a curing agent, a sensitizer, a lubricant, an antistatic agent, and a diluent. Then, the film is fed into a drying furnace 8, where a drying treatment is carried out while the magnetic tape is floated by blowing a hot blast from a blow-off outlet 9 and a curing treatment is performed by an ultraviolet-ray lamp 13. |
