摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the pleasantness of taking shower and to reduce the required quantity of hot water by a method wherein solenoid valve type water quantity controller for controlling the quantity of feed water in a heat exchanger and a signal generator adopted to vary the quantity of feed water periodically at high speed by controlling the opening degree of the solenoid valve are provided. CONSTITUTION:When the supply of water is started, a flow switch operates so that the valve body 16 of a solenoid valve 15 is opened to the maximum degree due to the signal from a signal generator 21 to thereby allow the maximum quantity of water to flow through the water quantity controller 1 and hot water is served through the heat exchanger 12. In this case, a heater 22 is ignited by the signal from the flow switch 23. When the switch 23 is closed manually or automatically, an opening or closing signal is generated from the signal generator 21 to the solenoid valve 15 for a predetermined period of time so that the valve body 16 is opened or closed to change the difference in pressure between a primary chamber 6 and a secondary chamber 8 and a control valve 4 is driven through a diaphragm 7. Consequently, the quantity of the feed water changes with time. Therefore, the massage effect of the shower is improved and the required quantity of hot water is reduced.
