PURPOSE:To improve the radiant heat transmitting property of an air conditioning panel by a method wherein in the case of a radiant heat air conditioning panel to be installed on the ceiling or the wall of a room, a covering material is attached closely to the room side surface of a metallic plate having an air conditioning heat medium circulating heat transfer pipe therein and a heat insulating material arranged on the rear surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:A heat transfer pipe 3 through which air conditioning heat medium flows and heat insulating material 4 are arranged on one surface 2' of a metallic plate 2 and a covering material 5 such as a synthetic resin sheet is attached closely to the other surface 2'' of the metallic plate 2 facing the interior of a room. Consequently, it is possible to improve the radiant heat absorbing and discharging efficiencies of the panel since the covering material 5 comprising the synthetic resin sheet which is effective for improving the radiant heat transmitting efficiency is attached to the metallic plate.
