PURPOSE:To enable to eliminate the 6 order 1 node torsional vibration generating within the major rotational speed range by a structure wherein crank pin angles between respective 6 cylinders are set to two kinds of special ranges in a crankshaft corresponding to in-line arrangement cylinders. CONSTITUTION:Angles between crank pins for either two of No. 1 cylinder, No. 4 cylinder and No. 5 cylinder are set to 120 deg. respectively and at the same time angles between crank pins for No. 1 cylinder and No. 6 cylinder, for No. 4 cylinder and No. 2 cylinder, and for No. 5 cylinder and No. 3 cylinder are set to x deg. measured in the same direction as just described above respectively. x deg. is set to 20 deg. in minimum and 40 deg. in maximum. Consequently, when said x deg. is set to 20 deg., for example, the combined vector sum is reduced to half times the conventional one and the 6 order torsional vibration is also reduced to half times the conventional one in proportion to the reduction rate of said vector sum. Accordingly, the 6 order 1 node torsional vibration in a single acting two-cycle 6-cylinder engine can be eliminated by applying modern 3 order vibration reduction method. |
