PURPOSE:To enhance the errosion-resistant ability of the blade base material of a steam turbine blade, by irradiating laser beam onto a cover layer which is formed on the base material by flame-spraying, to aim at making the structure of the cover layer high-dense. CONSTITUTION:Wear-resistant alloy of autogenous melt type is flame-sprayed onto the outer surface of a blade base material 1 to form a cover layer 2. Then, laser beam is irradiated to this cover layer 2 to form a high-dense cover layer 3. The time of laser beam irradiation may be short so that the errosion-resistant ability of the cover layer may be enhanced without the base material 1 being thermally deformed. |
