PURPOSE:To efficiently discharge molten ash or ash, which is about to be molten, to the outside without adhesion or fusing, by using a raking-out rod while it is cooled at all times. CONSTITUTION:With a circulating pump 19 operated, cooling water is pumped out from a cooling water tank 18, and is fed through a hose 14 from a water suction port 13 of a raking-out rod 5 to the inside of an inner cylinder 8. The ranking-out rod 5 is moved forward on guide rails 17, serving as guide, by means of rollers 15, and a rake-out member 9 at the forward end thereof reaches a part where ash is accumulated. Ash is raked out through a guide plate 32 onto a bar 6a of a flat type conveyor 6 by the use of the member 9. This permits molten ash or ash, which is about to be molten, to be efficiently discharged to the outside without adhesion of fusing.
