PURPOSE:To require no manual adjustment and improve the maintenance ability of a friction clutch by a method wherein an automatic adjustment mechanism for disposing of a clutch disc abrasion is formed in a hydraulic booster. CONSTITUTION:In case of the stepping of a clutch pedal 30, an inputting piston 43 of a hydraulic booster 40 is moved to left side, a valve body 58 of a valve mechanism 57 is made to be flush with a valve base 43h with a spring 59, then the pressure in an operating chamber 47 is increased by the left side moving of the piston 43. Thereby, the operating force generated by the piston 43 is transferred to a rod 71 via an operating fluid in a pressure chamber 56 and a piston 55, then a friction clutch 10 is released. Therefore, in case of the releasing of the stepping of the pedal 30, when the clutch disc of the friction clutch 10 is worn out, the piston 55 is deviated to right side in a rod 44f caused by the overcoming of the pushing pressure toward right side applied to the piston 55 via the rod 71 against the elastic force of the spring 63. Thus, the friction is absorbed. |
