摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent a creeping-up action of melted heat regenerative material, by coating the whole part or part of ascending wall of a heat regenerator, which comes in contact with heat regenerative material, with fluoroplastics or polymethyl-pentene, in a heat regenerator for heat regenerative material of alkaline metallic hydroxide. CONSTITUTION:Heat transfer pipes 2 are installed in a container 1 in which heat regenerative material is enclosed. Flange parts 4 as joint parts of them are formed in the container 1 and in a top lid 3, being interposed by gasketings 5 between them. Coated surfaces 6 are formed of fluoroplastics in the vicinity of liquid surface which is formed when heat regenerative material on the inside wall of a container 1 and on the outside walls of heat transfer pipes 2 is melted, in order to prevent the melted heat regenerative material from creeping up onto the flange parts 4. In addition, the creeping-up action can be prevented more positively, if flange parts 7 are stretched from the coated surfaces 6 on the upper ends of heat transfer pipes.
