PURPOSE:To always control the cooling capacity of a water cooler properly, by controlling a circulation pump by determining the flow rate to obtain proper cooling capacity with the temperature in cooling water, in a cooling equipment circulating cooling water from a cooling tower to a cooling load. CONSTITUTION:The cooling water from a cooling tower 1 is fed into a cooling load L by a circulation pump P, and is fed back again to the cooling tower 1 in a cooling equipment. A micro-computer 5 as a pump controlling part, a cooling load pattern selection part 51, a pump drive part 6, a thermometer 7 for cooling water, and a manometer 8 are provided in the cooling equipment. Cooling load patterns being selected in the cooling pattern selection part 51, which are characteristic curves corresponding to the temperature in the cooling water with each circulation passage for the cooling water, are stored in the micro- computer. Proper flow rate corresponding to the cooling capacity can be determined by selecting a characteristic curve among the stored characteristic curves, corresponding to the temperature nearest to the one being detected by the water thermometer 7. The pump P is controlled so as to have a determined proper flow rate. |
