A wiper blade assembly comprises a harness including a main yoke (1) having an elongated aperture in its back, and aligned holes in its side walls, a cylindrical pin (17) having portions which fit in the holes and having a circumferential groove (26) therebetween; and a plastics latching insert (11), including a body (12) which fits in the aperture and which has lips (16) overlapping the back of the yoke, the insert having a resilient strap-like member (14) which has end portions (32, 34) integrally connected to the body and a central portion (30) which, when the body is in the aperture and the pin (17) is in the holes, lies in part of the groove (26) in the pin, while the pin lies between the body and the strap-like member. <IMAGE> |
