A fish farm for raising fish in the open sea, comprises one or more fish cages, each cage comprising a fish enclosure in the form of a box, and a means of connecting the enclosure to a floating mantel body 1,the mantel body having a cross-section with decreasing width with increasing distance from the upper surface, preferably a triangular cross-section.
