PURPOSE:To enable to change the amount of heat transfer area in a heat exchanger, by arranging unit clusters of heat transfer pipes in the shape of a parallelepiped hexahedron in the heat exchanger which is used in a waste heat recovery boiler to recover the heat of exhaust gas from a gas turbine, and by increasing or decreasing the arranged numbers of the cluster units. CONSTITUTION:A unit cluster of heat transfer pipes 18B of heat transfer pipes of a heat exchanger is arranged having a predetermined distance to the same 18A, forming a space part in the shape of a parallelepiped hexahedron between both unit clusters of heat transfer pipes 18A and 18B. A solid state unit cluster 20 of heat transfer pipes is constituted of each heat transfer pipe panel from 21a to 21f, and an inlet header 22 and an outlet header 23 provided to the inlet and the outlet of each heat transfer pipe panel, as a whole. Because the whole body of a unit cluster 20 of heat transfer pipes is connected to a form which is similar to the parallelpiped hexahedron, each transfer pipe panel from 21a to 21f is formed in the same shape, respectively. In regard to a bent heat transfer pipe 20 forming a heat transfer pipe panel 20, the straight pipe part 21' is slantedly provided, having a certain angle theta to the horizontal surface 24. |
