AXLE BEARING MOUNTING FOR RAILBORNE VEHICLES

A longitudinally-extending leaf- spring link (1) is connected at one end to a bogie side sill and at its other end to an axlebox housing (2) by means of a pin (3). The pin (3) is supported via a rubber sleeve in an eye of the link (1). In order to reduce wear the rubber sleeve is bonded to the pin (3) to prevent rotation and is also bonded to a bush press fitted in the eye. Each end of the pin (3) is provided with flats non-rotatably engaging a corresponding recess (9) in the housing (2) and has a bore (7c) receiving a screw (5a) securing the pin to the housing.
