PURPOSE:To obtain a rather had dried fish paste product having a low moisture content and good crispiness and further good preservation quality, by delivering a pair of beltlike fish paste products in the superposed state, inserting a sandwich raw material into a position between both, heating the resultant material and cutting the heated material. CONSTITUTION:A raw material for marine fish paste product charged into a raw material hopper 2 is formed into a given meat thickness and delivered onto the peripheral surface of a drum 1, passed through a conveyor 6 while gelatinized and fed into a dryer chamber 10 and dried to give <=40% moisture content by revolving and passing through shelf conveyors (11a), (11b), (11c)... alternately in different directions. The dried beltlike raw material is then passed from the outlet through guide rolls 14 and fed into a seasoning bath 13 and seasoned. The seasoned beltlike raw material is then taken out by taking out rolls 15 one after another, fed into an expanding machine 16, subjected to the final treatment by an irradiating and heating means (about 400-700 deg.C), passed through a dancer roll 18 and wound onto a winding roll 19 to give the aimed beltlike fish paste product 20. |
