PURPOSE:To fit even a work with a different coupling section by constituting a jig device holding an engine for positioning when assembling it with a stationary clamp claw and a movable clamp claw movable back and forth by means of a pulse motor against the stationary clamp claw. CONSTITUTION:A base 3 is provided on a conveyor 1 and clamp sections 8a-8c are provided on it. When a work is mounted in a work installation section 8, stationary clamp claws 23a of right side clamp sections 8a, 8b, 8c are moved under a command from a control section to clamp the coupling section of the work from the width direction. At the same time, a movable support unit is driven and advanced by a pulse motor outside this jig under a command from the control section, a movable clamp claw 23b is positioned with the coupling section of the work to clamp the work by use of the stationary clamp claw 23a and movable clamp claw 23b from the width direction. |
