PURPOSE:The titled apparatus capable of always performing washing work with a clean washing liquid, constituted so as to filter sewage taken in a frame body by a rotary filter while discharging dust adhered on the filter to the outside from a receiving trough by washing off the same by washing water. CONSTITUTION:In the frame body 2 of the rotary filter apparatus 1 arranged in a washing tank, a filter 3 formed by providing a net plate on a circular frame 16 supported by a support lever 14 attached to a base body 13 under tension is rotated through sprockets 27, 18 and a chain 28 by driving an electromotor 6 with a speed reducer and sewage in the washing tank is taken in the frame body 2 from a sewage sucking port 9 to be filtered by the above mentioned rotary filter body 3. The clean washing water obtained by filtering is recirculated to the washing tank and the dust adhered to the inside of the net plate 17 is washed by injecting washing water toward a receiving trough 4 inserted into and arranged to the filter body 3 from the washing water jet orifice 5 provided to the part above the filter body 3 and discharged out of the frame body 2 from the receiving trough 4.
