PURPOSE:To make both silicone rubber weld completely by fusing by making a contact plane into a linear state, by a method wherein a thermally stiffening type stiffening silicone rubber to which a vulcanizing agent is added is put in a metal die after additive type silicone rubber has stiffened in a hollowed part of a cavity. CONSTITUTION:Liquid additive silicone rubber 3 is poured into a cavity 2 of a preheated metal die 1. When the additive silicone rubber is stiffened to an extent so that it is fluid under pressure and is not fluid at the normal temperature, thermally stiffening silicone rubber composite 4 is put in the additive silicone rubber. When a molded article 6 is taken out by uncovering the metal die 1 after pressing and heating are done by closing a lid 5, molded article 7 made of additive type silicone rubber and a molded article 8 made of thermally stiffening type silicone rubber are abtained as a molded article in a body. pressing and vulcanizing conditions of the foregoing are normally 5-50kg/cm<2>, 120-200 deg.C. |
