PURPOSE:To perform uniform application onto the outer surface of a small- sized part, by setting up said part at the predetermined position of a jig base by absorption, covering it with a jig having a tapered opening, and absorptively applying paste through the tapered opening onto the outer surface of said part. CONSTITUTION:A part 1 is mounted at the position, which is considered as the center of a suction hole 27 by the eye, on a part absorbing hole 27 provided at a jig base 21 and absorptively fixed by a suction pump at the side of a hose nipple 25. Thereafter, a jig 13 equipped with a supporting body 18 for supporting a cone 16 is mounted on a camber 20 fixed to the base 21 and inserted at a spot facing part 19. The suction pump at the side of a hose nipple 24 is driven, and paste is supplied to the paste accepting funnel part 14 of the jig 13 by a dispenser or the like and applied through the tapered holes 15', 15 at the periphery of the cone 16 onto the outer surface of the part 1. Hence, the part can be positioned visually, and the quality of a product can be stabilized.
