<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the construction and to largely reduce a commutation failure of a controller for an electric rolling stock by employing a chopper control system and constantly controlling acceleration due to the chopper control of an open loop. CONSTITUTION:The pattern voltage of a pattern voltage generator 1 is compared by a comparator 3 with the sawtooth wave voltage of a sawtooth wave generator 2, a timing of ON and OFF of a chopper is formed, this output is inputted to a pulse generator to convert the output into a pulse and to feed it as trigger pulse of ON and OFF to the chopper. The generator 1 generates a pattern to become a target, and mean a voltage similar to this pattern voltage is applied to a motor. The generator 2 decides the chopper period of shorten the period as short as possible by considering the performance of an SCR chopper. In this manner the commutation failure of the chopper can be largely reduced.</p> |
