<p>PURPOSE:To set the initial values of tandem rolling to the prescribed ones by measuring the final average width and height of a wire material and correcting a roll gap by using the deviation values between the computor values, obtained by adding several conditions to the measured values, and set values, in tandem rolling of a wire material. CONSTITUTION:The average width and height of a final wire material at the 1st trial rolling of the material are measured. A rolling load and a spring constant, etc. are added to the conditions under which the measured width and height of the material are obtained to obtain computor values; when the deviation values between a part of the set values and the computor values corresponding to said part are within allowances, said part is left as it is, and a roll gap is corrected for other part which exceeds the allowance; accordingly the change of conditions thereafter is corrected by the computing trial to put the initial condition values of rolling within the set allowances.</p> |
