PURPOSE:To provide a clear pattern being little abraded, by a method wherein a releasable hydrophobic synthetic resin film provided on a base film is dyed with a sublimable disperse dye, and a cover layer, a magnetic layer and an adhesive layer are provided thereon. CONSTITUTION:The releasable hydrophobic synthetic resin film 7 is provided on the base film 1 such as a polyester film or a polyolefin film, the resin film 7 is dyed with a sublimable disperse dye, and then a cover layer 4 is provided thereon. Then, a magnetic dye is applied onto the layer 4 to provide a magnetic layer 5, and further an adhesive layer 6 is provided to obtain a colored magnetic foil. The resin layer 7 may be dyed with the sublimable disperse dye, for example, by a method wherein an image is printed in the dye directly on the resin layer 7, followed by heating to sublime the dye and cause it to penetrate into the resin layer 7, and the ink is removed by washing with water. |
