PURPOSE:To form a coating film approximately uniform over the entire inner surface of a plastic hollow body, by forming a paint film on the inner surface of said hollow body from aqueous emulsion paint, sequentially predrying said paint film from the downside to the upside, and then completely drying it. CONSTITUTION:A bottomed plastic parison 1 is held with a holder 7 in a manner such that its opening 2 is directed upwards, a proper amount of aqueous emulsion paint having power as a gas barrier is poured therein through a nozzle 8, and then the parison 1 is taken out, to form a paint film 10A of uniform thickness on the inner surface of the parison 1. Then, in a predrier 31, a feed pipe 33 for heating air is lowered in a manner such that the lower end 32a1 of the longest injection nozzle 32a moves in close to the inner surface of the bottom 6 of the parison, and heating air 35 is injected to predry the paint film 10a in the vicinity of the bottom 6. Thereafter, the feed pipe 33 for heating air is moved pitch by pitch, air injection nozzles 32b-32e are sequentially inserted into the parison 1, and the paint film 10a is sequentially predried from the downside to the upside. After the predrying is completed, heating air is sprayed through the upper inner part of the parison 1 to completely dry the paint film 10a.
