ADSORBING MATERIAL OF C-REACTIVE PROTEIN

摘要

PURPOSE:A safely usable adsorbent of C-reactive protein which has high adsorbing capacity and adsorption selectivity, obtained by bonding a compound having a phosphorylcholine group to an insoluble carrier. CONSTITUTION:An insoluble carrier such as a copolymer comprising a vinyl alcohol unit as a main constitutional component is activated. A compound having a phosphorylcholine group such as phosphorylcholine is immobilized on the surface of the insoluble carrier through a covalent bond to be insolublized and bonded to obtain an adsorbent of C-reactive protein. Because this adsorbent selectively adsorbs and removes C-reactive protein in body fluids in high efficiency, compact adsorbing apparatus can be assembled and this adsorbent can be used simply and safely.
