OPTICAL INFORMATION RECORDING MEDIUM AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To increase the absorptivity and the reflectance and to improve the uniformity and the stability by bringing an optical information recording medium precursor into contact with a developer including one kind of compound at least selected from alkyl amines to deposit copper on physical developing nucleuses. CONSTITUTION:A physical developing nucleus layer 2 where physical developing nucleuses are dispersed in a hydrophilic colloidal dispersion medium and a copper compound-containing layer 3 are formed on a supporting material 1. A developer containing one kind of compound at least selected from alkyl amines as a developing agent is used as the developer which melts copper out of the copper compound-containing layer 3 and leads copper to physical developing nucleuses of the physical developing nucleus layer 2. After physical development, the copper compound-containing layer 5 is removed. Thus, the absorptivity and the reflectance for a high-density energy beam are increased, and the uniformity and the stability are improved.
