<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of image disorder by providing a guide means which prevents lateral oscillations of a conveyor belt which conveys a transfer material in engagement with projections provided to the conveyor belt and a holding means which holds the engagement stably. CONSTITUTION:Transfer paper is attracted electrostatically to the conveyor belt 2 and conveyed while holding a correct attitude. The belt 2 is supported by located support members 102, 103a, 103b, and 104 in slide contact, and a rib 101 provided, specially, to the entire inner circumference of one side of the belt is fitted in the guide groove 102a of the support member 102 to prevent lateral oscillations. Further, the rib 101 engages grooves 3b and 3b provided to driving rollers 3 and 4. The belt 2 is pressed gently by a pinch roller 110 where the rib 101 engages the grooves 3b and 4b to prevent the rib 101 from disengaging from the grooves 3b and 4b. Thus, the lateral oscillations of the conveyor belt and image disorder due to the oscillations are prevented.</p> |
