PURPOSE:To save electric power consumption and make high speed operation possible by a method wherein a capacitor, connected to an AC terminal of a full-wave rectifier in series, is short-circuited by a closing signal of a voltage detecting circuit and afterwards is inserted by opening a contact by a timer circuit. CONSTITUTION:An operation coil 1 of an electromagnet part is connected to the DC terminals of a full-wave rectifier 3. A capacitor 7 and a resistor 8 are connected to an AC terminal of the rectifier 3 in series and both the ends R, S of the AC terminals are put into a single-phase AC source. The AC terminals of a full-wave rectifier 10 are connected in parallel with the capacitor 7. A thyristor 11 is connected to its DC terminals. This full-wave rectifier 10 and the thyristor 11 compose a normally open type non-contact switch 12. A voltage detecting circuit 13, which detects the voltage and applies the voltage to the gate of the thyristor 11, a timer circuit 14, which short-circuits the gate of the thyristor 11 a predetermined time after the source is closed, and an auxiliary circuit 15, which makes the conduction of the thyristor 11 sure, are provided. |
