PURPOSE:To obtain a monitoring and control apparatus provided with a mechanism estimating dissolved oxygen quantity in side an aeration tank, by measuring with a dissolved oxygen meter dissolved oxygen in a water receiving tank and variation per hour of it and computing with estimation the dissolved oxygen in the aeration tank. CONSTITUTION:Liquid subject to measurement in an aeration tanks 1a-1c is introduced in good order in to a water-receiving tank 16 by way of a sampling pump 15, valves 17a-17c, and is automatically measured with a dissolved oxygen meter 10 and delivered to a computer 12 as an input. On the other hand, after measurement of dissolved oxygen of a sample located in an area 1, a valve 21 is closed, and a valve 21b is opened and these closing and opening relations are reversed during the course of measurement of dissolved oxygen and sampling of water to the water receiving tank 16 is suspended. By tracing variation per hour of dissolved oxygen in the water-receiving tank 16 by the dissolved oxygen meter 10 at every constant interval of time, the measured values are delivered to a computer 25. By the computer 24, from its measured values and measured values of water sampling flow-meter, concentrations of dissolved oxygen in the aeration tanks 1a-1c are estimated. |
