PURPOSE:To give a delay to an FM modulating signal for a desired time easily by delaying a frequency of an input FM modulating signal by several tens - several hundreds times of the period of the input FM modulating signal through a delay line after frequency-dividing the frequency by 1/N and passing the delayed signal through an N-multiplier. CONSTITUTION:An FM modulating signal is converted into a square wave by a square wave converting circuit 1, the frequency is frequency-divided by 1/N at a 1/N frequency divider 2 and becomes a square wave having a long period. This square wave becomes a square wave delayed by several tens - several hundreds times of the period of the input FM modulating signal by a delay line 3 capable of relatively long delay due to low frequency. The square wave having a frequency the same as that of the FM modulating signal is obtained by inputting the delayed square wave to an N-multilier 4. As a result, the FM modulating signal having a desired amount of delay is obtained. |
