PURPOSE:To improve the operability by displaying a group number and an abbreviated number in response to each operating mode in a personal radio equipment having only one display section equal to the number of digits of the group number. CONSTITUTION:A personal radio equipment provided with a multi-channel access connecting control function by one kind or two kinds of group number setting (signal node or dual mode) is set by setting directly the group number (direct-in mode) or by designating a location storing the group number by an abbreviated number (memory-in mode). A display control section E, in this case, performs the display corresponding to each operating mode such as display of a memory number (1 digit) of a channel memory Mc storing the group number after the section E displays the group number of 5 digits stored in the 1st group number memory M1 to a display section D in a case of the direct-in mode and displays the group number for a prescribed time only in case of the memory-in mode. Then, even if only one display section having the same number of digits as the number of digits of the group number exists, the operability is improved. |
