PURPOSE:To prevent mistake of an office number by displaying data information such as office number, residence and name stored in a storage section on a display section. CONSTITUTION:The telephone set 11 is constituted by an office selecting switch 13, a handset 14, a control section 15, a display section 20, and a storage section 6. Data information such as office number, name and residence of an opposite transmission required in advance is stored in a storage section 16 through the control section 15 from the office selecting switch 13. In making a call to the transmission opposite party, the office number, name and residence or the like of the opposite party stored in the storage section 16 by the name or a representing number of the transmission opposite party are displayed on the display section 20 by the office selecting switch 13. Whether or not the displayed station number is the office umber of the opposite party to be communicated is confirmed and a talking signal is transmitted to the transmission opposite party by the office selecting switch 13. |
