PURPOSE:To obtain a triangle wave with simple circuit constitution by inputting an output of a counter counting a clock pulse to a D/A converter via a selecting section. CONSTITUTION:A counter section 1 is an up-counter in 5-digit and digits 1a-1e are reset by a start signal 3. The digits 1a-1e have positive outputs d0-d4 and inverting outputs d0'-d4'. The counting is attained at each input of a clock pulse 4 and the digit is carried in order from the positive output d0. The positive outputs d0-d3 are selected by the selecting section 5 when the positive output d4 is zero and the inverted output d0'-d3' are selected with the positive output d4. The selected output is inputted to a D/A converter 2 of 4-digit input. When the up-counter in 5-digit is counted up to 0-31, the output of the converter 2 is counted up to 0-15 and down up to 15-0, allowing to obtain a pseudo triangle wave. |
