PURPOSE:To obtain a titled original plate which has high photosensitivity and has the spectral sensitivity expanded to a visible light region by providing a phenyl urethane resin layer and a specific photosensitive and heat-sensitive layer on a base having a hydrophilic surface. CONSTITUTION:A soln. contg. a phenyl urethane resin and an alkali-soluble resin is coated to 1-100g/m<2> on a base having a hydrophilic surface and is dried, by which a phenyl urethane resin is provided. A photosensitive and heat-sensitive compsn. contg. (A) a high polymer Co (III) complex {e.g.: cis[chlorobis(ethylenediamine)poly(4-vinylpyridine) cobalt (III)] chloride} and/or Co (III) complex [e.g.: hexaammin cobalt (III)perchlorate], (B) a photoreducing agent (e.g.: 1-naphthyl disulfide), (C) a hydrogen donor (e.g.: polyethylene glycol), (D) a chelating agent (e.g.: glyoxime) and (E) a binder (e.g.: gelatin) is thereafter coated thereon and is dried, by which the photosensitive and heat-sensitive layer is provided. |
