PURPOSE:To facilitate checking the operation of a detecting switch, by a construction wherein whether or not the operation of a detecting switch for detecting information on the condition of an engine is normal can be checked at a checking terminal. CONSTITUTION:When a key switch is turned ON, a transistor Tr1 is turned ON, and due to a low-level signal of a point (b), a memory circuit 4 holds a high-level signal and outputs it. An output from an AND circuit 6 is at a low level, a transistor Tr2 is turned ON through an inverter IN, and a voltage of 0V is measured at the checking terminal 7. When an accelerator pedal is depressed and an accelerator switch 1 is turned ON, a voltage VB appears at the terminal 7 if the switch 1 is normal. On the other hand, when the switch 1 is in an abnormal condition, the transistor Tr1 remains ON, and the memory circuit 4 outputs a high-level signal, while a memory circuit 5 outputs a low- level signal, and the output from the AND circuit 6 becomes low level, resulting in that a voltage of 0V appears at the terminal 7. |
