PURPOSE:To obtain a plate grid having excellent corrosion-resistance by casting lead calsium alloy thermally fused under specific temperature through mold of specific temperature into planar casting then rolling and expanding or punching. CONSTITUTION:Lead calcium alloy is thermally fused under temperature of 475-600 deg.C then casted through mold of temperature lower than 100 deg.C into planar casting, then it is rolled and expanded or punched. In order to make crystal particles fine thus to improve corrosion-resistance, rising of fusable temperature and lowering of mold temperature are effective also for improving mechanical strength. Consequently when fusing lead calsium alloy with temperature higher than fusing temperature (420-470 deg.C) for conventional grid structure and casting with mold having temperature lower than that (140-180 deg.C) for conventional grid mold, a grid having excellent corrosion-resistance can be obtained. |
