<p>PURPOSE:To make thin an entire recording and reproducing device by providing a loading motor operating a tape loading mechanism and a transmission mechanism in a space regulated by a side face of a drum, a prolonged face of a top of the drum and a chassis. CONSTITUTION:The loading motor 11 operating a tape loading mechanism of a tape cassette loaded to the chassis 1 is fitted horizontally to an upper side support bracket 24 of the chassis 1. The torque of the motor 11 is delivered to a worm 15 via gears 12-14, reduced in the speed by a work wheel 16 and a lower side loading ring 10 is turned further via gears 17, 18 a cam mechanism 19, gears 20, 21. The turning of the ring 10 turns a loading ring 9 via a gear. The said transmission mechanism of the motor 11 is arranged in a space regulated by a side face 7b of a guide drum 7 running a tape on it, the prolonged face of a top face 7a and the chassis 1. Thus, the profile of the entire recording and reproducing device is thinned.</p> |
