PURPOSE:To obtain much more electrical energy by a method wherein solar batteries are bonded to a light transmissive body having a relatively small degree of relationship with the heat collecting temperature, so that the elevation of the temperature of each of the solar batteries is controlled to a minimum. CONSTITUTION:A solar energy collector is formed of solar batteries 1, a light transmissive body 2, a casing 3, a heat absorbing body 4, heat collecting pipes 5, a heat insulating member 6 and an air layer 7. The solar rays passed through the light transmissive body 2 are partly converted into electrical energy by the solar batteries 1 and the part of the solar rays passed between the solar batteries are absorbed by the heat absorbing body 4 and are taken out as thermal energy through a heat medium flowing through the heat collecting pipes 5. |
