PURPOSE:To provide a building rubber sheet exhibiting a great power of clamping nails hammered into the sheet and having a high strength, by blending an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer with an unvulcanized rubber and molding the mixture in an unvulcanized state into a sheet. CONSTITUTION:50-10pts.wt. ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer having a specific gravity of pref. 0.935-0.95 and optionally additives such as filler, parting agent, colorant, etc. are blended with 50-90pts.wt. unvulcanized rubber such as styrene rubber. The mixture is kneaded and molding into a sheet. |
