PURPOSE:To prevent a toner from adhering to a sensor, and to detect exactly the remaining quantity of the toner by providing a magnet on the side of an agitator positioned so as to be opposed to a toner sensor, and making a tuft- rising by the magnet slide-contact with the surface of the sensor. CONSTITUTION:An agitator 5 having a U-shaped arm 5b is provided so as to be freely rotatably on a shaft 5a of a housing 3, blocking of a toner is prevented by a rotation of the arm 5b in the direction as indicated with an arrow, and the toner is carried to a magnetic roll 2. Also, a magnet 6 is attached to a position of the arm 5b opposed to a toner sensor 7 of a side frame 4. Accordingly, a tuft- rising A of a magnetic toner adhering to the magnet 6 slide-contacts with a sensor surface 7a. Therefore, it is prevented that the toner adheres to the sensor surface 7a, and the remaining quantity of the toner is always detected exactly. |
