The invention relates to a heat exchanger having a ductwork through which a heat carrier flows and which has at least one manifold and a duct part which is connected thereto and is composed of a hose extending in a meandering form. The ductwork of a known heat exchanger consists of a multiplicity of mutually parallel and comparatively short duct pieces. Two groups of these duct pieces are arranged extending at right angles to one another. All hose ends have to be connected to manifolds and distributing manifolds. This results in a very complicated production and a design that is architecturally very unsatisfactory in conjunction with a low capability to adapt to the environment. By contrast, the invention proposes that the ductwork is constructed in the manner of a fabric in which the hose serves as the weft. The fabric facilitates secure fixing of the hose, while, because of its structure and the elimination of supporting structural parts, the woven duct path is architecturally attractive and can be very effectively adapted to the conditions.
