The invention relates to a magnetic-force convertor arrangement for generating thermal energy from electrical current. The magnetic-force convertor arrangement has a soft-magnetic strip-shaped or column-shaped iron core (3) which is surrounded by at least one short-circuited secondary induction winding (7). The short-circuited secondary induction winding is then surrounded by a magnetising winding (9) which can be connected to an AC source. The iron core (3) and windings (7, 9) are arranged in a container. A heat-absorbing fluid can be passed in the longitudinal direction through flow channels (17, 19) within the container. <IMAGE>
