<p>PURPOSE:To make a steering wheel light and increase its strength and then prevent vibration at running by protruding an arm made of steel from a boss made of steel and winding reinforced fiber round the arm up to the root. CONSTITUTION:An arm made of carbon steel is protruded in the direction of a spoke 2 from a boss 3 made of carbon steel and is integratedly formed with a core material 9 made of the foam material of the spoke 2. A reinforcement by the winding and tighting of the arm 10 and unidirectional reinforced fiber 8 is formed by winding the unidirectional reinforced fiber 8 such as carbon fiber or glass fiber round the outside of the core material 9 in the longer direction and in an orientation with an inclination of 45 deg.. The unidirectional reinforced fiber 12 made of aramide fiber that prevents cracks is wound round the end 11 of the unidirectional reinforced fiber 8 in the circumferential direction of the spoke.</p> |
